Kasirdam is a single-user, offline-first point-of-sale and back-office app for a retail store. It is a tool that helps a store record and count its own sales, inventory, and expense transactions on the store owner's own device. There is no account to create, no sign-in, and no PINs or user roles.

The business data you enter is stored on your device. On Apple devices (iPhone, iPad, Mac), if you are signed in to iCloud and have it enabled, that data also syncs to your own private iCloud account so your Apple devices stay in sync. On Android, your data stays on the device; if Android's backup is on, an encrypted copy is saved to your own Google account so you can restore it on a new device. There is no shared developer backend.

We, Adam App Studio (the developer), do not collect, receive, see, or store your business data on our own servers. There is no Kasirdam backend. There is no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking, and the app collects no personal data.

1. What data the app handles, and where it lives

All of the following is created by you and stored locally on the device (and, on Apple devices when iCloud is enabled, mirrored to your private iCloud via Apple's CloudKit; on Android, optionally included in your encrypted Android backup): business & catalog data (products, prices, costs, barcodes, stock levels); sales data (transactions, line items, discounts, cash payments, receipts); inventory data (adjustments, stock-opname counts and variances); purchasing data (purchases and restocks); expense data (operating expenses you record); and financial summaries (gross profit and net profit estimates computed with the costing method you select — FIFO, LIFO, or Average).

Kasirdam is a single-user app: there are no user accounts, no sign-in, no PINs, and no cashier/supervisor/owner roles. The app does not ask for your name, email, phone number, or any other personal identifier, and it does not link your data to a marketing identity.

2. Where your data syncs or backs up (per platform)

Apple devices (iCloud / CloudKit): if iCloud is enabled, Kasirdam stores your data in your account's private CloudKit database, governed by Apple's iCloud terms and privacy policy. The developer has no access to your private CloudKit data. If you sign out of iCloud or disable it, the app continues to work with on-device data only.

Android (local + Auto Backup): Kasirdam does not sync to any cloud or developer server — your data lives on the device. If Android's Auto Backup is on (the default on most devices with a screen lock), an encrypted copy of the app's database is stored in your own Google account and is used only to restore the app on a new device. It is end-to-end encrypted on lock-screen devices, the developer cannot access it, and you can turn it off in Android's system backup settings.

3. Device permissions

Kasirdam requests these only when the related feature is used, and works if you decline: Camera — to scan product barcodes; images are processed on-device and are not uploaded. Notifications — optional low-stock alerts (Android asks at runtime; iOS uses local notifications). Bluetooth (iOS) — to connect to a receipt printer and/or barcode scanner; used only for that local hardware connection.

4. Payments

Store sales: Kasirdam records cash payments only. It does not process card or e-wallet payments and does not store card numbers (PAN) or CVV.

In-app purchase ("Buy Me a Coffee"): the app offers a single optional, voluntary tip you can buy to support the developer. This purchase is processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play); Kasirdam never sees or stores your card number, CVV, or billing details — those are handled by the store under its own privacy terms. The tip is a non-refundable supporter purchase, is not required to use the app, and is not a store payment method.

5. What we do NOT do

No accounts, sign-in, or personal data collection. No third-party analytics or crash-reporting SDKs. No advertising or ad identifiers. No tracking as defined by Apple's App Tracking Transparency; the app does not request tracking permission. No selling or sharing of your data. No collection of your data on developer-controlled servers.

6. Your figures are operational estimates, not accounting

The financial figures Kasirdam shows — gross profit, net profit, cost of goods sold, and any costing-method outputs (FIFO, LIFO, or Average) — are operational estimates calculated from the data you enter. They are provided to help you run the store. They are not audited accounting, tax filings, or financial advice, and you remain responsible for your own bookkeeping, financial reporting, and tax compliance (see the Terms of Use).

7. Data retention & deletion

Your data persists on your device until you delete it in the app or remove the app. On Apple devices, data mirrored to your private iCloud is controlled by you through your Apple ID / iCloud settings; on Android, any encrypted Auto Backup copy is controlled by you in your Google account's backup settings. Financial records are reversed rather than hard-deleted to preserve an accurate transaction history.

8. Children

Kasirdam is a business tool and is not directed to children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date.
